TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACCESS SERVICES

Through the Building Access eXchange (BAX) Program, Century Asia Corporation established alliances with leading carriers and providers such as Bayantel, Bell Telecom, Broadband Philippines, Dream TV, Eastern Telecom, Inter.net Philippines, Meridian Telekoms, People on Internet (POI), to offer their brands and flavors of local and international telecommunication, cable TV and broadband Internet or data connectivity in the buildings.

Telecommunications Access Services are already available in buildings such as Liberty Center, Medical Plaza Ortigas, One Magnificent Mile, Oxford Suites, Pacific Star, Prestige Tower and Le Gran Condominium.

Building owners and administrators are very responsive to the services. A single relationship with Century Asia Corporation automatically extends to the growing number of carriers and providers who are part of the BAX program. Immediately, the burden of having to deal with each and every carrier and provider wishing to enter the building is eliminated. More importantly, the building owners value the increased retention of tenants and greater marketability of the property.

Building occupants benefit from a more diverse choice of offerings and competitive pricing brought about by the presence of multiple carriers and providers. This environment decreases waiting time for installation and upgrades and promotes closer attention from the carriers and providers on the quality of the services they offer. Should an occupant find the service of a current carrier or provider unacceptable, alternatives are available within hours if not minutes. On the other hand, redundancy becomes more affordable and realistic.

The carriers and providers who are part of the program are likewise very enthusiastic. For some, it opens new markets. For others, the ability to provide better service. A number have even developed new products specific to the opportunity.
